Kunstneropphold ved Søndre Green gård
– for kunstnere som arbeider med tekstile medier
Norske tekstilkunstnere (NTK) utlyser tilbud om kunstneropphold ved Søndre Green gård, som ligger ved Noresund i Krødsherad kommune. NTK ønsker å skape en arena for fordypning og konsentrasjon, bidra til utvikling og synliggjøring av tekstilkunst og fremme kontakt mellom kunstnere med ulik tilnærming til tekstilfeltet.

Søknadsfristen for både AiR Green og AiR Green Studio er søndag 13. november 2022. Søknad må sendes via søknadsskjema nederst på denne siden.
HVEM KAN SØKE
AiR Green er forbeholdt profesjonelle kunstnere som arbeider med tekstile medier eller har et prosjekt relatert til tekstil. Selv om vi forutsetter at du har noe erfaring med tekstilkunst fra tidligere, er det ikke noe krav at tekstil er hovedmediet i praksisen din. Merk at oppholdet er uavhengig. Det vil ikke bli gitt noen opplæring i tekstile teknikker eller lignende. Oppholdet er også personlig (man kan ikke ta med familie, partner, kjæledyr etc.).
Kunstneroppholdet er åpent for internasjonale søkere.
AiR GREEN OG AiR GREEN STUDIO
NTK tilbyr to forskjellige kunstneropphold på Søndre Green gård, AiR Green og Air Green Studio.
AiR Green
Oppholdet er for fire kunstnere samtidig med varighet på fire uker. Ordinær AiR Green tilbys i èn periode om våren og èn periode om høsten. Oppholdet inkluderer et stipend på kroner 5000,- per person (for 4 ukers opphold). Reiseutgifter dekkes med inntil kroner 3500,- per person. Kunstnerne har fri bolig og arbeidsplass.
AiR Green Studio
Oppholdet er for én kunstner med varighet på to måneder. AiR Green Studio tilbys i èn periode om våren og èn periode om høsten. Oppholdet inkluderer et stipend på kroner 10 000,- (for to måneders opphold). Reiseutgifter dekkes med inntil kroner 3500,-. Oppholdet er i det nylig rehabiliterte Sommerfjøset, som er omgjort til en studioleilighet med alle fasiliteter.

Artist Residency at Søndre Green farm
– for artists whose work relates to textile media
Norwegian Textile Artists (NTK) announces an artist-in-residence opportunity for artists whose work relates to textile media. The residency is at Søndre Green farm in Noresund, at the foot of the Norefjell mountain range in Krødsherad Municipality, Buskerud County, Norway. With this residency, NTK aims to create an arena for concentration and in-depth research, to contribute to the development and presentation of textile art, and to promote contact between artists who use different approaches to textile media.

The application deadline for both AiR Green and AiR Green Studio is Sunday, November 13th 2022. Applications must be submitted via an application form at the bottom of this page.
WHO CAN APPLY
AiR Green is for professional artists who work with textile media, fiber art, or who have a project relating to textiles. Although we assume that you have some previous experience with textile art, there is no requirement that textile is the main medium in your practice. Note that the residency is independent. No instructions in textile techniques or the like will be given. The residency also applies solely to the artists (it does not extend to family members, partners, pets etc.).
The residency is open to international artists.
AiR GREEN AND AiR GREEN STUDIO
NTK offers two different artist residencies at Søndre Green farm, AiR Green og Air Green Studio.
AiR Green
This residency is for four artists at the same time for four weeks. Ordinary AiR Green is offered for one period in the spring and one period in the fall. The residency includes a grant of NOK 5,000 per person (for 4 weeks’ residency). Travel expenses are covered up to NOK 3,500 per person. Artists are given free accommodation and work space.
AiR Green Studio
This residency is for only one artist with a duration of two months. AiR Green Studio is offered for one period in the spring and one period in the fall. The residency includes a grant of NOK 10,000 (for 2 months residency). Travel expenses are covered up to NOK 3,500. The residency is in the recently rehabilitated Sommerfjøset (“Summer barn”), which has been converted into a studio apartment with all facilities.
